Fall parade

I had a fun morning. My mom, dad, Jake and I went to the East Cobb parade. It was the perfect weather for a parade. We met Eleanor and her family there. Eleanor's mom brought me a little bag to put all my candy in which was a good thing because my mom forgot about candy at parades. My mom didn't remember about the candy because no parade that she's ever been to threw as much candy as this one! Oh my goodness, there was candy everywhere! I quickly got the hang of running and picking up all the candy on the street. Anyway, here are some pics..

Us waiting for the parade to start. Mrs. Davis, Eleanor's mommy, is holding Jake..
Jakey laughing at mommy..
watching the parade..
hey, that lady singing in the parade is one of Jake's teachers!
Me watching my future high school's band...Walton HS. I don't know who Bill Jones is but I have his sticker on my shirt.
check out these kids on their unicycles...

Solo in the Saucer

Guess what? Jake can play in the saucer! My mom went to pick Jake up at daycare and could not find him. She looked all around and finally asked..where is he? The teachers said right there and looked at her like she was crazy for not recognizing her own child. Who would have guessed at 12 weeks Jake would be playing in the saucer?! We came home and dad got our saucer out of the attic and Jake loves it! Of course, I had to try out all the toys on it. Jake really enjoys watching me and smiles at me when I talk to him.

2 year stats

My 2 year stats....well, I weigh a BIG 24 and 1/2 lbs. (19th percentile). I better watch out..Jake is catching up to me and fast! I'm 33 in. tall (23rd percentile). I got a few shots and was a little upset with that but then I got a lollipop, a happy meal and picked up from school early so the good outweighed the bad. My family is doing well...adjusting to the new morning and evening routines since my mom went back to work this week. My mom and dad are tired ..but not me! We all have colds right now. I think that I gave my mom, dad and Jake my cold. Otherwise school is going well and I'm enjoying being 2 yrs. old. I keep my parents laughing with my vocabulary. My favorite thing to say all the time now is...UH!...oh, my goodness (doodness)!

At 11 weeks old, Jake had his first day of school today. He goes to Mt. Bethel UMC daycare until probably Decemeber when he'll get to come to my school. My mom goes back to work next week!

He's in my chair!

I'm sharing my bumbo chair with Jake. This is one item that I really don't care to share with him but I do it. I still sit in this chair and actually fit in it better than him. We have to push his chubby little legs into place and mine fit just perfectly.
