Saturday in the Park....

My mom, dad and I spent the nice fall morning at a park in Roswell. It was a bit windy in the shade! There were a lot of kids there. I liked just about everything...especially the sandbox. The sand felt kind of funny in my hands!

Chair Potato..

Just relaxing before bed. I couldn't take my eyes off my Elmo video long enough to look at my dad taking my picture. Even my bottle gets in the way of my viewing. I only get 1 bottle a day and between that, my chair and Elmo...it's like heaven! I hope they don't take away this bottle anytime soon...

Driving!!

First driving lesson with my dad. He told me to blow my horn if anyone got in my way:)
Waving bye to my mom...
One-handed...
Getting brave!
As you can see, I spent a lot of time outdoors this weekend. It was fun and not too hot! Being 1 is fun! I'm learning all kinds of new things! I moved to my new classroom at school and am taking my nap on a mat and sitting at a little table to eat my snacks and lunch with all my friends. Let's see...I wave hi and bye now. I say ah-ah when I drop something (that means uh-oh). I say up. I can climb up all of my steps at home (14 of them). And, finally after months of my infant teacher, Ms. Jasmine, blowing kisses to me, I blew her kisses back on my final week with the infants. Most of the time though I blow them from my ear...not sure why...maybe it's the sound that I'm focusing on??

In Action!

Check out my new shoes! This week, I start transitioning into a new classroom at school...the "walkers/talkers" room, so I have to have shoes to keep up with my new friends! I'm walking all around the furniture and am getting brave enough to go from a squating position to a full standing position...without holding onto anything or anyone. I'm so proud of myself...I reach my arms over my head to keep my balance! Other than that, we've had a nice Labor Day weekend..I went to my old neighborhood for a birthday party (the Kusar boys) and visited with some other friends while we were in the neighborhood. It was fun to see everyone. I also did a lot of shopping this weekend and went to the Georgia Aquarium for the 1st time. I liked to stand up against the glass and pound on it as the fish swam past me. I especially liked the bright yellow fish! Hope that everyone enjoyed their holiday...today marks 1 yr. that I've been home with my mom, dad and doggies. I came home from the hospital this day last year!
